Good to see an Orc (Ork, gogo 40k!) player about. But I must ask, any news on the great and 'good' Ruinous Powers? More specifically, how goes it for the Dark Prince?

Dawn of War II I am guaranteed to play

No idea what's that, but as I said, I'm a Orc so I played against Dwarfs. Humans play against Chaos, High Elves against Dark Elves. Maybe I will try other races next weekend...

But it's pretty much like AB - first team to get 500/1000/1500 and so on points win, everyone get nice rewards. Points are from killing/healing, but mainly from capturing vital points like gate switches and so on.

There is much more to PvP than that. All you did was play a Scenario RvR. Also at the first tier (of at least 4) you are paired against your counter race, but people from other races can travel anywhere, so you will get dwarves in the elf area for instance and vice versa.

There is still open RvR in the PvE areas, competitive Public Quests, and the siege combat that is only available to elder beta testers.

Yeah, I play Scenarios almost all the time, but you must have few people for it, on both sides.

But I already made it to flying master (dude that transports you to other cities) and met a Female Human... warrior? Was cool to kill her after 5 minutes of fight. I said gg she didn't reply ;[

Oh, and it's pretty funny to go up to a Dwarf lvl 3-4 (I'm level 11) and look him run in fear, even if he didn't enable PvP.

By the way, where can I find PvP fights outside of scenarios and zones? I have yet to find a guild, and there's not point now. Characters are going to vanish on Monday. But I am going to buy at least 1 month and see how it goes.

Oh, and Tactics system looks great. 3 kinds of tactics that make character better, one gained in PvE, one gained by levels and one gained in PvP (renown).
But traveling could be made easier. I liked the idea of being catapulted between zones, and right now I know only about one Orc-a-pult, right at starting point.

I'm getting the open beta client personally to check it out, i've seen some videos on youtube with some guy touring various areas and it looked amazing. I hope the gameplay is just as good, since i love PvP and epic RvR battles.

I'll buy it if i end up liking it during the beta

Ok I have one question to all of those that have been through the beta or what-have-you. With Chaos, do you worhsip Chaos Undivided or are you able to choose between the Four?

I was lucky enough to get a beta key so I'm excited to play it before launch.
At first I was shocked by the size of the client (8 GB ) but I can't miss this opportunity.

Yes I am.

We should all try to have a Guild Wars player server on release.

Playing Open Beta, love Squig Herder (survivability), Zealot (extreme heals) and Bright Wizard (DOMAGE!!11).

Oh, and ordered the game at RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO already. Took me a lot of trouble to get it, but it's worth it.

You probably didn't, because a lot of pre-ordered keys were sold out. Face it, pre-ordering a game that went gold before Open Beta is pretty extreme.

But right now I'm in Open Beta (US Servers, so I don't have to endure GoA, Frenchies and morons knowing only one language - their own), it's pretty cool, quests, RvR... If they just balanced the Squig Herder to make him a useful career, not a "decoy" or a Punch Gob NoDPS he is now.

How much is it going to cost per month, and do you get the first month free with order?
